Research Interests

My research interests are primarily focused on investigating the impact of acidosis on the inflammatory microenvironment. I am currently studying how extracellular pH alters inflammatory signaling in epithelial cells and the role of neutrophils in inflammatory acidosis in an effort to identify novel therapeutic targets for inflammatory bowel disease.
