My many clinical interests include surgery for simple and complex abdominal wall hernias.

Care Philosophy
My goal is to provide optimal, safe surgical care for patients with as minimally invasive an approach as feasible. I strongly believe that excellent patient communication eases anxiety and allays concerns, optimizing the patient's ability to recover.

Personal Interests
In my spare time, I enjoy snowboarding, music (bass guitar), soccer, and travel. I have three young kids and we enjoy LEGO, hiking, and swimming together.

Volunteer Activities
I am dedicated to improving health and surgical education internationally. I have traveled to my father's home country, the Philippines, on medical missions and have provided lectures and presentations in Brazil, Germany, and the Philippines.
