My many clinical interests include surgery for simple and complex abdominal wall hernias.
My goal is to provide optimal, safe surgical care for patients with as minimally invasive an approach as feasible. I strongly believe that excellent patient communication eases anxiety and allays concerns, optimizing the patient's ability to recover.
In my spare time, I enjoy snowboarding, music (bass guitar), soccer, and travel. I have three young kids and we enjoy LEGO, hiking, and swimming together.
I am dedicated to improving health and surgical education internationally. I have traveled to my father's home country, the Philippines, on medical missions and have provided lectures and presentations in Brazil, Germany, and the Philippines.
