Research Interests

My research interests include surgical clinical outcomes in thoracic oncology and lung transplantation, nutrition and metabolism, and identifying processes of care which lead to improved outcomes for surgical patients in order to improve patient care and shape health care policy.

Teaching

  • Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery (2012)
    School of Medicine, Surgery
Clinical interest in general thoracic surgery including benign and malignant diseases of the lung, esophagus and mediastinum, chest wall tumors, deformities and reconstruction, surgery for end-stage lung disease and lung transplantation, benign and malignant airway and tracheal disease, surgery for hyperhydrosis and minimally invasive thoracic procedures. Reaserch is in identifying processes of care which lead to improved outcomes for surgical patients, in order to improve patient care and shape health care policy.
