Clinical Interests
My specialty is the care of children with heart rhythm disturbances and adults with congenital heart disease who have rhythm concerns. Management strategies include medications, cardiac ablation, and cardiac device implantation. My research interests are the subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillator (S-ICD) in children and adults with congenital heart disease and how electrical dyssynchrony affects heart function.

Care Philosophy
Although seeing a Cardiologist may be a stressful time for a patient or their family, my philosophy is that it is also a time for learning and taking control of an otherwise overwhelming situation. Together with my patient and their family, we will strive to make a diagnosis and treatment strategy that encompasses the many considerations of their unique situation.
