Clinical Interests
My main interests involve taking good care of burn, frostbite and complex wound patients of all ages.

Care Philosophy
I believe that taking care of burn patients requires a team. As part of the burn team I strive to take care of the whole patient as well as their injuries, in addition, I work very hard to maintain good and frequent communication with the patient and their families.

Personal Interests
In my spare time I enjoy painting, music, knitting and spending lots of time with my children and grandchildren doing outside activities.

Volunteer Activities
I am dedicated to teaching good burn and frostbite care throughout the United States both by offering free lectures, speaking at conferences and teaching frequent Advanced Burn Life Support Courses. I have also previously worked very closely with LifeSource of Minnesota as their critical care chair. LifeSource is the non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation in the Upper Midwest. They serve more than 6 million people in communities across Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and portions of western Wisconsin

Public Speaking

Lecture onburn, frostbite, critical care, pain and sedation management, difficult conversations throughout the country
