Care Philosophy
As a pediatric anesthesiologist it is my passion to care for little ones while they undergo surgical procedures. I am a former pediatrician who has experience being a patient, and a mom of 2 boys who have had to undergo anesthesia. I understand firsthand how vulnerable one may feel and how anxiety provoking it may be to trust someone to care for your loved one in a hospital setting. I also understand that each patient and medical procedure is unique and anesthesia care should be tailored accordingly. I take pride in caring for your loved ones as if they are a member of my own family. It is my privilege to prepare your child for surgery, answer your questions and concerns, deliver safe excellent anesthesia care intraoperatively, and ensure appropriate pain management post-operatively. While most of my work occurs while my patients are asleep, it is truly my honor to be a pediatric anesthesiologist providing exemplary care for your loved ones.

Personal Interests
It brings great joy and pride to provide anesthesia care to patients, especially pediatric patients, in Colorado Springs where I was born and raised. When I’m not working, I cherish my time with my husband, two fabulous sons and extended family. We enjoy skiing, bicycling, hiking, and being outside under Colorado’s beautiful blue sky, especially up in the Rocky Mountains.
