Care Philosophy
My current interests are studying the effect of HIV on the immune system and its impact on enteric dysbiosis. My ultimate goal is to determine the mechanisms in which dysbiosis induces aberrant immune activation in order to develop therapeutic targets that alleviate chronic immune cell activation.
