Clinical Interests
My clinical interests include delivering a high complexity of care for the acutely ill adult and adolescent hospitalized patient. I enjoy co-managing orthopedic, surgical and cardiac patients.
I am also very interested in mentoring acute care nurse practitioner students, imparting my clinical knowledge and helping new advanced practice providers transition to practice.
Care Philosophy
I strive to deliver a service that exceeds my patients' expectations while delivering safe high quality care that is equitable for all patient populations. I will exhaust all possible and appropriate resources to treat not only medical illnesses and conditions, but I am also compassionate, empathetic and provide comfort while promoting a better quality of life. I focus on patient centered care - I want to know the patient's perception and understanding of their medical condition and want them to be an active participant in their care delivery while maintaining their personal values with dignity and respect.
