Current interests include developmental outcomes in single suture craniosynostosis, the impact of intrauterine opioid exposure upon the incidence of facial clefting, and the utility of artificial intelligence upon the diagnosis and outcomes of patient with single suture craniosynostosis

cleft lip and palate, craniofacial birth anomalies, vascular anomalies, hemangioma, dermatologic surgery for skin lesions, gender affirmation in adolescents, breast anomalies, gynecomastia, ear anomalies, facial fractures/trauma, and secondary burn reconstruction.

Care Philosophy
I work to make my patients comfortable and feel included and active participants in their care. Being engaged is a healthy first step toward outstanding outcomes.

Personal Interests
I enjoy the outdoors and activities including hiking and biking. I am always up for travel; some of my favorite stops have been Melbourne, Australia, Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, CA, anywhere in Italy, the south of Spain, and the Islands of Greece.

Volunteer Activities
Global health has been a longstanding passion. I have been lucky to work with Interplant WV with whom I have visited Vietnam, Nicaragua, and Haiti. It is always an inexplicably rewarding and perspective building experience.

Public Speaking

I have delivered educational conferences about pediatric plastic and craniofacial topics including cleft care, craniosynostosis, deformational plagiocephaly, and vascular anomalies. Most recently I have been an invited speaker to discuss the impact opioid addiction upon the care of infants exposed in utero.
