The Witkowski laboratory is dedicated to collaborative research investigating B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) - the most common cancer in children. We aim to uncover how the immune system is remodeled by leukemic cells to foster their survival throughout therapy. Ultimately, we will endeavor to develop novel treatment approaches that modulate components of the leukemic immune microenvironment in order to improve B-ALL treatment outcome
