I enjoy DIY projects around the house such as flooring, tile, a little bit of everything including some electrical. Additionally, I enjoy working on cars. Recently I replaced the engine on my car. On the weekends you will most likely finds in the garage doing something.

Previously I have given talks at conferences and internal events in which I talk about diabetes and how altered electrical activity regulates the CaN/NFAT pathway in diabetes. I have also thought human physiology, the biology of cancer, and general chemistry. I really enjoy connecting with students and learning where they come from and where they want to be in the future.
